Monad

A L1 blockchain aiming to scale the EVM with parallel execution and high throughput (maybe 10K TPS). Backed by Paradigm, it’s drawing strong attention for its technical promise and testnet growth. That said, it’s still early. The mainnet hasn’t launched, and real-world performance is unproven. While the potential is big, so are the expectations, Monad needs to deliver consistently to stand out in a crowded L1 space.

I’m just sharing my opinion. Ethos was built for that, and I don’t just go wherever the wind blows. From day one, I knew Monad wasn’t a project I wanted to engage with. I didn’t, and I think projects that launch with too much hype usually disappoint. I’m not saying Monad failed, but it definitely messed up in including users. Testnet participants got nothing, while those active in Hyperliquid and similar places were rewarded. I just don’t get why projects do that. When Alucard recently joined them, it confirmed my earlier thoughts were right.

this chain didnt treat community as it suppose to do, now their nfts and tokens are down it needs a miracle to retrieve its momentum tbh also compared to last year , volume is down too

MONAD just have a different way of doing their stuffs, from rallying a vast community to tolling out their insane tech which I have experienced first hand. Super excited for this one and personally looking forward to mainnet.

Hope Monad can soon launch their mainnet so we can see if all the big talk can produce a good decentralized layer 1 evm blockchain.

gotta give it to monad for its community first approach, the CEO knows 1000 top community memebers by their handle, that has to account for sth let's c how they'll reward their fellow commarades on October 14th but till now, I've liked how they have operated

I expected more from Monad

I used to think that high-speed chains had to be technically complex. But Monad changed my mind. It's a full EVM-compatible Layer-1 that achieves ~10,000 TPS, near-instant finality, and still allows deploying old Solidity contracts without modification—just copy and run. Even more impressive is the parallel execution mechanism, along with MonadBFT consensus and optimized storage via MonadDB, which eliminates Ethereum's old bottlenecks. Plus, the recent news of their collaboration with Chainlink to bring oracles (Data Feeds, Data Streams, CCIP) to the testnet helps developers access on-chain data quickly, cheaply, and reliably. Monad is like a breath of fresh air for developers hesitant to deploy on Ethereum due to speed and fees. If you want to see a chain that's "fast, easy to use, and supported by real data," then Monad is getting very close to that.

Monad brings impressive ideas like MonadBFT for fast consensus, RaptorCast for rapid block propagation, and parallel execution to scale beyond Ethereum’s limits; yet while the technical design sounds elegant on paper, the real challenge lies in whether these systems can stay secure, decentralized, and reliable under real-world pressure. It deserves credit for pushing performance and compatibility together, but without a proven track record, it’s fair to stay cautious: speed and novelty are easy to promise, hard to deliver.
