Monad brings impressive ideas like MonadBFT for fast consensus, RaptorCast for rapid block propagation, and parallel execution to scale beyond Ethereum’s limits; yet while the technical design sounds elegant on paper, the real challenge lies in whether these systems can stay secure, decentralized, and reliable under real-world pressure. It deserves credit for pushing performance and compatibility together, but without a proven track record, it’s fair to stay cautious: speed and novelty are easy to promise, hard to deliver.
