Disclaimer: I invested $5,000 in Fantasy.top in their pre-seed round. I've been very impressed with the team and their ability to BUILD. From a single splash page website gathering interest to delivering an app with a cult following, it's been fun to watch their entire journey. A year later their community is stronger than ever, and people are absolute die hards every week playing fantasy.top I got into it very early and went hard on a lot of cards - as someone who has a background in collectibles this felt very close to home for me. It didn't pan out in terms of my portfolio value, and I hadn't picked it back up in a while since I've been building so much But I love what they're doing, their product is awesome, innovative, and differentiated and most importantly their community is TOP NOTCH. I do think they need a ui/ux designer tho :p

I invested in Fantasy.top just about 2 years ago. As an investor, I never once received any type of investor update, news on how things were going, or insight into the future of the product. I invest in lots of things, and in crypto this isn't SUPER uncommon. But it is a signal to me. I was very early on fantasy.top on Blast, trying to farm gold. I probably spent 10-15e on the first day, and ended up losing most of it in value. The rarity of the cards, how cards were pulled from packs, etc. all changed considerably and it was hard to "invest in rarity" like I thought I was originally doing. No harm no foul, that's my bad. I gave up on it until they pulled me in by making me a hero. I felt honored and put some more eth into Fantasy. I saw how empowered the community was, and I really respected 710 as their community lead kinda guy. However, the team has basically been MIA since August. It seems they don't know how to keep the game going or sustained, and now I sense the community starting to turn on them. There were a few poison pills early on, but now we are full FUD mode for most people The team suffers greatly from an inability to communicate anything. We had intended to host them on our stream, only to get stood up by the team and 710 had to step in for the co-founder we were interviewing. This lack of communication, consistent bugs in the app, and community starting to turn on them has turned my once positive review into negative. The reality is that 1. the game is not very fun 2. the mechanics of it are tricky and doing any type of "investing" is EV- 3. They've tried lots of things, nothing has stuck well 4. I don't like how distant they are from the consumer - this is the part that I think is the biggest weakness and must change if they want to turn it around

Fantasy Top really has pioneered the whole InfoFi concept and built an outstanding dApp/game with a truly loyal community. The devs are super based and always shipping. I'm 100% certain they'll make it very far!

It was supposed to be where fun met the blockchain. Instead, it’s where patience goes to respawn. The community’s still hanging in there (barely), the vibes are… experimental, and "evolving" now feels like a euphemism. I came to grind and hodl (down 99% on the investment), but at this point, I’m just here for the lore. 10/10 experience if you enjoy mayhem with a leaderboard. If things ever get close to what they were 6–8 months ago, I’ll archive this review, but my hopes are at an all-time low, much like the communication from the Fantasy.top team.

Fantasy Top was a project that combined influencers, social engagement, and gamification—a product that, at one point, was valued even higher than the Blast chain. The way they mixed what some call the crypto Bible—Twitter—with social engagement and gamification set a standard for other products. The fact that they even pulled off turning their idea into reality is worth a nod. Some argue that if they had dropped it on the Base chain, it could’ve revolutionized the market and been remembered as the Next Friend.tech. In the end, though, Fantasy Top was a high-risk, high-reward product aimed more at heavy users than casual ones, and once the obvious incentives dried up, its lack of mass appeal became even more obvious.

Fantasy meets the blockchain in the best way possible! Fun and easy to dive into, with top-notch community vibes. It's always evolving, so there's never a dull moment. If you're into crypto and gaming, this is where you want to be. 10/10, would grind, would hodl, would definitely recommend!

I was initially drawn to Fantasy Top because I love fantasy sports and had some experience with Sorare. Although I enjoyed their approach this was about a year ago I didn’t have enough time to dive deep. Still it’s impressive to see the game persist maintain a solid player base and attract fans who genuinely enjoy it. Props to the team for creating a unique experience rooted in CT lore and gameplay. Wishing them continued success!

I played fantasy top since test net on Blast all the way till now.. Still playing every single week.. it's impressive how addictive this game is, and also it's lucrative if you are good at it, be it winning tournaments or trading hero cards. I am here to keep playing and watching this game/dapp grow and evolve!
