NEUTRAL

"It was a project with killer product-market fit, but it just couldn’t snag mainstream appeal."

Fantasy Top was a project that combined influencers, social engagement, and gamification—a product that, at one point, was valued even higher than the Blast chain. The way they mixed what some call the crypto Bible—Twitter—with social engagement and gamification set a standard for other products. The fact that they even pulled off turning their idea into reality is worth a nod. Some argue that if they had dropped it on the Base chain, it could’ve revolutionized the market and been remembered as the Next Friend.tech. In the end, though, Fantasy Top was a high-risk, high-reward product aimed more at heavy users than casual ones, and once the obvious incentives dried up, its lack of mass appeal became even more obvious.

Over time, the high-risk, high-reward perks that made this product unique have seriously lost their edge. I used to be a die-hard Fantasy Top evangelist, but that's exactly why I'm now giving it a neutral review.
