i tell myself to spend more time on farcaster because i recognize it's where the buidlers and people who seem to get the crypto ethos better are.

i used to be a huge advocate for farcaster, but lately its become just as noisy as twitter. the timeline is full of engagement farming and the quality of discussion has dropped alot. for something that claims to be decentralized, many key features still feel very centralized. it feels like its losing the original vision that made so many of us exited.

Farcaster is one of the few Web3 social projects that actually feels good to use. The app is clean, fast, and familiar, kind of like X, but with a crypto-native foundation. You own your identity, your content is portable, and spam is much less of an issue thanks to their onchain rate limits. As a user, I’ve been impressed by how active and genuine the community is. Developers are constantly building new Frames, bots, and clients, which makes the ecosystem feel alive. Farcaster doesn’t just talk about composability, it shows you what it looks like. That said, adoption is still early, and for now it feels like a tight bubble of builders and early users. But if they keep shipping like they have been, I could see Farcaster becoming the go-to social layer of crypto.

Recently, I adopted Farcaster, using its app Warpcast. It's a great decentralized social media network used by many developers. It runs on Base, an L2 blockchain of Ethereum. It's a really smart and fast app, easy to adopt with its own wallet, where you can manage your ether. The team is very strong and has managed to secure more funding. It's growing every day.

Been using farcaster on warpcast for few weeks right now. It isn’t buggy or slow. It has so many great DAPPs to keep you entertained. I recommend get an invite and try this app out.

its ok but i havent really profited from it at all but to be honest havent really used much of it too since all the action esp kaito/infofi is on twitter (perhaps this is a fault of the BDs of Farcaster more than anyone else really) degen airdrop could retire ppl but after that its been just smol insular rugs from someone who has a strong CT/X presence and decides to tourist their way onto farcaster shame because i do believe X needs an alternative but its a catch22
