I reached out to Chris in the past because someone I know got nuked from OS (including their NFT collections) because they opened OS while being connected to a VPN. People get routinely flagged for VPN usage and get perm restricted. If you take your online privacy seriously, OS will nuke you.
If you connect from a sanctioned country once (that VPN connection prevents ads on streaming sites lol) they will nuke your profile and won't ever unlock it.
Even if it's a singular and obvious VPN connection. Talked with Chris, the Opensea CTO about it. Even though that persons US based employer, including the CEO of the company (!!!), reached out to them vouching for that person - OS and Chris decided to keep that person banned - including nuking their deployed collections and rugging their collectors.
Chris and I started DMing again after a short public exchange, you can scroll up from here: https://x.com/badboykrys/status/1961608763925741719
I talked with Chris after he asked on how he can make OS better. Right after getting a LOT of usable feedback - which OS has ignored for the past couple years - he thanked me by censoring some of my NFTs and listings because he deemed some of my ENS names too "controversial".
Btw. none of the mentioned issues / feedback got implemented - but right after getting the feedback and asking which things they should prioritize - Chris thanked me by censoring my ENS names and preventing them from being listed / traded.
Well, fuck you Chris, you won't be getting any more feedback.
