Camille Roux - Generative artist

Camille Roux is a pillar of the generative art community and a true OG within gmDAO. I have the pleasure of knowing Camille through gmDAO and incredibly appreciate the longstanding support he has given. Not only is he a brilliant artist, but in all my interactions with Camille, he has been very approachable and kind. Camille has produced a fantastic body of generative art, with his own distinctive style. He has also been an important member of gmdao and a key voice for gen art on Farcaster.

I've had the privilege to work with Camille on a couple of occasions over the couple of years, writing for his collection with Matthieu Segret, The Source, and Résilience. For my money, he is one of the very best generative artists working in the space- and probably the most overlooked given his astonishing talent. He has a big following, particularly on Farcaster, but should be better known regardless. i may not have interact much with Camille Roux, never actually. But I know them as a member of gmdao, and also an artist of The Source. I like most of gmdaostudio's Blind release, and The Source is one of them!! I may not be able to say much on this post, but I'm grateful that Camille joins gmdao and I hope that more artists will join gmdao and have a release in gmdao studio in the future

I’ve been following Camille’s work long before his drops with gmStudio and gmScribe, and it’s been a joy to watch his consistent rise. His artistic precision is matched by a thoughtful presence; especially in how he’s cultivated and nourished community, more notably on Farcaster. The fact that he’s now hosting podcasts and speaking GenArt in his own language says it all. A sharp, generous, and deeply respectable figure in the space.

I consider Camille to be one of the most talented generative artists today. His work never ceases to impress me, both in terms of technical brilliance & aesthetic appeal. He also happens to be an extremely humble and likeably person. I find myself very fortunate to have worked with him a number of times over the years, both through gm.studio & gm.scribe.
