animoca brands keeps investing in games and metaverse projects that actually feel enjoyable. they’ve got reach, resources and a knack for spotting what could bring more people into crypto.

I suppose this is the case with most VCs in the space but Animoca brought us some amazing products and also a ton of major duds. Feels like they could've been more selective with their funding and their brand would've been more meaningful. Back in the day it was a big plus when they were listed as an investor, now doesn't really mean much.

The Animoca team has managed to transform traditional gaming into something of enormous value within Web3. They have created and supported projects such as Sandbox, backed key initiatives, and continue to drive the infrastructure of the metaverse. Animoca is a successful investment fund with many explosive projects. Last season they had SAND, this season they have MOCA. Hopefully, the web ecosystem they build will bring value to the community.

I remember in 23-24 almost each NFT project had investment from them. It’s a good VC but there were also some rugs so won’t say that it’s perfect. Anyway mostly they are good
