Mehdi

I met Mehdi via work in Clique's earlier days when our focus was building an identity protocol. Mehdi was at the time in PolygonID (now called Billions) & i fondly remember constantly sharing knowledge on what credentials would be useful to usher in a next wave of applications. At the time, I was new in the company so my knowledge was more limited & it was always good to know you had a builder backing you. Clique & PolygonID ended up working closely together & we worked on a few cool use cases (submitting credentials about your gaming activity via PolygonID's application) - even co-sponsored an event together. Today, we aim to meet up every conference where we happen to be around & I know he's been working on his personal project - still early days but shows promise

Mehdi is behind blocklogica an accelerator based out of Dubai who has immense experience in heading different departments .i have had the pleasure to work with on some of the cohorts their accelerator program has kicked off. At the core of it to spin out something like this you need an industry wide understanding of the space and him having worked with polygon and other ecosystems makes him the right person especially because he keeps up with the space on a very regular basis He's also super humble and someone you can absolutely get along with on a way more meaningful way. Got to know him through the Bored ape yacht club community and been a very good ally ever since !!! Super grateful to know him and everything he is building in Dubai . Hes also been working on some wallet ecosystems focused on mass onboarding everyday people to crypto so definitely a swiss knife of a human being !!!

I've known Mehdi for couple of years now, and these r the qualities that stand out for me: professionalism: he doesn't wast time or hang out airmlessly, he has a mission and is here to get there thesis-driven: He dives deep. Once he finds a trend interesting has high standrads in unsderstanding the core tenets of it network guy: he has an extensive network in the space, is ready to go out of his way to meet interesting ppl in the industry

I’ve only known @Mehdiaeth for a week, but his X feed’s already got me hooked with his fire takes on crypto and tech! I worked alongside him for PolygonDAO grants. Then when the DAO disbanded he moved on to Polygon ID which later spun out to be Privado and launched the Billions project. He was always polite and uplifting.

Getting to know Mehdi and hearing his story about how he started from a traditional business background, found his passion, powered through, and did not settle for "good enough" was inspiring and I couldn't be more thankful for knowing him as a friend and a mentor as well. You can take his word to the bank and know for sure that if he's talking about something, he's lived it.
