Vera is one of the nicest, smartest, and loveliest people I’ve found via Ethos. Although we didn’t interact much, I saw her often in the discord channel. I also asked a few trusted mutuals about her and did a deep dive into her twitter profile. She’s one of those fascinating people who effortlessly blend crypto, humor, and an unapologetically nerdy vibe into something seriously cool, also one of the few people who actually have the brains to back up their posting. She tweets about everything from her cat mom life to random thoughts that hit way too close to home (like, honestly, who hasn’t had an existential crisis over a game?). What I really admire about her is that she doesn’t just talk about her work in a dry way, she waeves in personal anecdotes and relatable moments that bring you into her world. It’s refreshing to see someone so deep into their academic field still keep things lighthearted and engaging. She’s chill but intentional, definitely not tweeting just to fill space. IMO, she’s a great blend of brains, humor, and genuine personality. She’s definitely someone worth following... if you want an engaging, smart, and fun presence on your timeline. Otherwise? Don’t.
