Carpenter of Web3
Serpin Taxt's review for Carpenter of Web3
Score: 1304
NEGATIVE

"Broken trust in the worst possible ways"

Carpenter was slashed and given an opportunity to provide evidence that he actually did have a house fire that impacted his family's well being. All he had to do was provide some meaningful evidence of the fire but he was incapable of doing so, claiming he didn't care about his score, etc. If Carpenter ever comes through with evidence I will remove this negative review but the evidence that he did NOT have a house fire and made it up is pretty blatant and I would be considering before engaging with him. Seek help, carpenter.

Carpenter offered to third party verify with me - I asked some others and it became clear nobody would be willing to accept that. It would need to be some form of full dox of his living location, something his family doesn't want (fair request). The reality is; how can I verify what he shows me, and how can I verify to everyone else even if he verified? I told him not to worry about it because even doxing fully to me is not what his family is comfortable with. Maybe I'm naive, maybe he has a gambling problem, maybe he doesn't, but I will continue to go by innocent until **proven** guilty, and that peoples privacy should be respected, not assumed it should be just given out as the baseline normal thing. The scariest part is, this was someone that everyone knew as a friend, for years? Many vouches, everything. It's pretty upsetting to see people flip so quickly in the crypto community, from an investigation from another anon account, says a lot about where things are at and how much value these relationships actually hold - I guess not much? Ethos is not judge, or jury - it is a social platform run by a team, and that team has heavy influence over the opinion of people here, and you left comments on this slash like you have on others. If this was indeed a scam, report it to the police, it'd be investigated properly, and he'd be able to tell them whatever verification they need, random people on the internet who all are mostly literally anonymous themselves. We've all seen those accounts seen similar accounts give death threats over nothing at all many times before. So right to be cautious, is anything proven? No Has there been a real way to prove and verify without doxing? No Did people go get pitchforks? Yes Last question to marinate on: Who did the investigation? They are on the fantasy team, who everyone has said are scammers, and Carp left that team, because he didn't like how they operated (funny that), is this one of their burners? Feels like there are too many stones unturned.
