"degen type"

I only started seeing him recently in a Telegram group and since then I notice him show up from time to time in chats. From the way he talks, he feels more like a degen type, interested in fast moving things and risky plays. He doesn’t talk all the time, but when he does it’s usually around whatever is trending at the moment.
