This person doesn't speculate on prices going up or down. They use a "Delta Neutral" strategy. The method: Buy 1 Bitcoin on the Spot market, then Sell (Short) 1 Bitcoin on the Futures market. With this balanced position, price increases/decreases don't affect them. Their goal is solely to harvest the Funding Rate (interest fees paid by futures traders) every 8 hours.
