"Blatant misuse of Ethos"

Martin, I came to you and asked you why you vouched for someone. You said you didn't know him, and that you were just participating in r4r or v4v threads in various communities. You told me that it's what everyone does, and you've done it too. I am sure you are a great person; there are many people who respect you that I respect who have left you positive reviews and vouched for you. However, partaking in this type of activity is clearly spoofing your credibility, making it look more legit than it actually is. Particularly with regards to people you don't know vouching for you or you vouching for them. I understand you may think that this is normal Ethos behavior, but I have a vested interest in preventing this type of behavior going forward. Please remove the vouches for people you do not know.
