In 2022, I joined an alpha server(can’t remember the name ) that was heavily dominated by men. Back then, I was just trying to find my way in the space, eager to learn, contribute, and grow. It felt like a competitive arena most of the time, but then I met Pelumi. Finding out that she was not only a woman i but also from the same country as me brought a sense of relief and connection. It’s rare to come across someone who understands both your professional aspirations and cultural background, especially in communities where you’re often the minority voice. Since then, we’ve shared wins and challenges in Web3, pushed each other to keep learning, and celebrated every milestone no matter how small. She has been a constant source of encouragement, reminding me that even though I’m not “there” professionally yet, growth is a journey, not a destination. Pelumi’s support has taught me that community is one of the most valuable assets we can have in this space. It’s not just about alpha, opportunities, or skill sets; it’s about people who believe in you even when you’re still figuring it all out. I’m grateful for the bond we’ve built and excited for the many more milestones we’ll both achieve. Cheers to more success, more growth, and to lifting each other higher.
