I'm building this, so I'm biased, but joined the team for a few reasons: 1. Founding team is world-class in their respective technical fields. Yilong Li (CEO): PhD Stanford in low latency, distributed systems Lei Yang (CTO): PhD in Computer Science at MIT, thesis in efficient consensus and sync btw distributed systems 2. The construction is counter-trend In a world where everyone is trying to play nice and prioritizing interop it's a chain that said "fuck that, we're going to be the largest, fastest and most-responsive single-state environment" This is a property which is coming to be more-appreciated as time goes on and fractured ecosystems are showing to be a harder hurdle than anticipated. 3. Real-time and no gas limits cannot be replicated by chains with consensus (L1 or L2) MegaETH is going to be able to deliver developer, user and app experiences that CANNOT be replicated by other chains if they have consensus because it imbues lag-time before a tx can be "true" and you cannot implement our node specialization to unbound computational load. In hindsight, it will have been obvious.
