"Gives a push when I need it"

We’ve been in touch with him for over two months now, and throughout this time I’ve realized he’s the kind of person who motivates you with his outlook. For me, he’s an authority figure I want to resemble. Charismatic, successful (though almost nobody knows it), he expresses his thoughts perfectly, constantly supports me, and insists on pushing every project through to the end because that’s the only way to stand out from the rest. And when I’ve got no energy or desire left, he always repeats: ‘If you give up now, someone else will take your reward’ xD.
