I first connected with Umar through our shared love for GameFi back when it was on peak of hype. At the time, I was fully immersed in it and always looking for like-minded people, so meeting him was very useful. Over time my focus shifted away from GameFi, but we kept in touch and found common ground in different retro projects. More recently, we crossed paths again in Ethos, and it is been great to see how his interests and insights have evolved. He has a good eye for spotting opportunities and tends to pick projects worth keeping an eye on. Following him feels like keeping a reliable contact in the space, someone who is both knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the game.
