Pumpdotfun is where crypto meets chaos and memes meet mayhem. Imo the perfect place to train your dyor skills. :)) Great platform, not always the greatest users, but hey, that happens everywhere. Every community has its share of less-than-ideal members, so it’s not a big surprise or a dealbreaker. 7/10

i believe this tech was always coming and kudos to pump.fun for being there to capitalize, but don't feel like the company/brand did much during periods of bad and sometimes legitimate questionable publicity

you win some, you lose a lot. Even if you hate what's coming out of it, it's a staple of crypto society.

Yes it allowed for millionaires to be made & wil profits to be accrued, yet it was mainly done on the back of others, while rewarding stupid behavior, rugs, scams, deaths & live video fuckery. I congratulate everyone who printed off it, I didn’t manage to make any money of f P.F but I know of its infamous stories. What was once a crypto space of smart launches, dedicated teams & lists of utility… turned over night to 1 man launches, zero utility or care given, 10 min charts, volume extraction & liquidity draining from everywhere else in the space. Call me salty but 2018 - 2021 were the peak of DEFI / Memecoins & NFTs for me

A good product with a bad and terrible impact in the overall crypto space. killing Defi and also serving as an easy tools for grifters. a greedy team not always ready to listen to corrections and take public feedback, having a sole purpose of constantly sucking and dumping liquidity out of the crypto market. millions of dollars have been lost by genuine people on the platform who are victims of thieves and grifters constantly launching coins on the pumpfun platform

In true Solana spirits they extracting a lot of value from the Crypto industry and degens with their high fees.

It's a decentralized space and everyone can make any products. And they have right to do it. And pump fun is definitely one of those products that changed the industry. For the worst imo. It shifted culture to " create token in seconds and become rich in minutes ", which is not healthy. Why? Because it turned into game of hot potato and a battle royale with real money at stakes. Overall Web3 world is not perfect, and you can say this about most of the products out there, but IMO Pump fun did more harm to the CT then good. Still brought a ton of content tho. Can't deny that.

pumpfun changed the whole space..made a good tech space into a gamble hub ,i wish pumpfun was never happened and this place would have been a much better place

When pumpfun launched towards the end of 2023, I saw how good of a product it was and still is but when they started to generate significant revenue the people behind the woork became net negative to the ecosystem taking out over $700m without reinvesting any of the revenue generated back into the ecosystem and they are now looking to extract another $600m it honestly shows they have zero regards for the people that use their product. I hope alon and his team can do better.

Turned the space into a nightmare, but for a time it made things fun and profitable. Tough to judge objectively.
