Most fun i ever had using a chain before TGE, honest truth. It's fill with games and decent nft communities, the meme coin ecosystem here is strong as well. There are a lot of gambling related apps but i think this really caters to consumers. Consumers don't care about tech, they just want fun apps and to degen. Overall my experience here is top tier

The team responsible for XP distribution made a choice to nerf NFTs, which we were told were at the heart of their "consumer chain". They did this in the middle of the bear market and at a time when holders, players, and degens kept faith that there's a better future for their beloved jpegs. Not only that, but they nerfed EVERY single nft collection, even the ones that make for 90% of their on-chain activity (OCH and Gigaverse). I am not severely affected, but the way they executed and communicated this move was absolutely atrocious. Not bullish anymore on arrogance and misplaced incentives.

Just checked out the AbstractChain listing on Ethos. Really impressed by how the project is positioning itself in the ecosystem. The vision around scalable infrastructure and developer-friendly tooling looks promising, and the community discussions on Ethos show strong support already. Definitely one to keep on the radar.

To preface this message, I interact with Abstract regularly throughout the week. I want to be bullish on Abstract, but I don't see anything that truly differentiates it from any other chain. Currently, the biggest thing keeping people interested is the prospect of tge. Post tge, I'm not sure what will keep anyone around. There's always a chance for it to develop further, but in it's current form there's not much to be truly excited about

Unlike all the other AI critics, these are my own views I apologize for being so blunt, but this is no different from the 99% of nonsense that plagues the crypto ecosystem. You should ask yourselves this question before investing in any project: What does Abstract actually contribute? I'd say nothing. The renowned Vitalik Buterin is right—L2s were a mistake, and the solution lies not in building alternative networks, but in strengthening Ethereum and developing separate tools. Honestly, Abstract isn't even useful for farming its token (given that they've already farmed us enough).
